Garvent Consult Ltd. is a multidisciplinary agricultural, afro-allied and rural credit management consultancy firm.

We are a limited liability company incorporated in Nigeria and Ghana with registration numbers RC. 313212 and 97,228 respectively. We are also registered with the African Development Bank (ADB) as consultants. Our ADB registration number is F-01648 - NGA.

Garvent Consult Ltd. was first registered as business name- Garvent Ventures on 26th February 1992 with number 835226. When the scope of activities increased, it became obvious that we could no longer operate by business name alone, we had to get incorporated. Garvent Consult Ltd. was therefore incorporated on 19th May 1997.

Over the years we have been involved in appraisal and feasibility studies of many agricultural projects in different parts of the country. We have rendered advisory services for the successful management of many large-scale farms in Nigeria and in some cases, helped some financial agencies to directly manage such farm projects profitably.

Our Vision

We in Garvent Consult Ltd. have studied and by our acquaintance with the scenario in the country's rural development effort we realize that the failure to meet the expectations of the people is mainly due to poor management of resources and lack of proper as well defined programme/project monitor supervision.

Our major aim is to help the rural populace manage funds profitably for their own direct benefit and those of the benefactor organizations or bodies. This is a desire, which we have been pursuing with vigour (granted the opportunity) but gradually, so that on the sum we would have helped the rural dwellers in the given community/state or country as a whole to:

1.        Raise their standard of living

2.        Reduce rural-urban migration

3.        Enhance backward integration

4.        Raise Literacy level through applied adult education
